Mari Yosoto is determined to live again and come out of hiding. Nothing will stop her and Trevor from taking down the Project once they reach Mars. Getting there is the easy part. Trying to strengthen their relationship is more complicated.
Then the Project attacks them on their way to Mars, severely damaging both the ship and the Monarch crew. However, they refuse to give up and with the help of some friends and advanced EarthCorps tech, the team tracks the Project to an old Mars Base.
Trevor and Mari set everything else aside and head into the fight, regardless of the consequences, aware this is their last chance to stop the Project permanently and be together.
If they both survive…
Although Trevor Nash took the missing person’s job to help his former commanding officer, deep down he needed to see Mari again. After trying and failing to find out what happened to her, Trevor makes the best of an odd situation, hoping he can remind Mari of their budding friendship and finally get some answers. When the mission goes sideways and they find the not-so-missing girl, a centuries-old conspiracy theory comes to light and the only thing more unfathomable is learning Mari’s secret.
Together with their newly formed ragtag team, Mari and Trevor team up and undertake a mission unlike anything either of them has faced before with life-altering and possibly deadly consequences.
Trevor Nash vows to protect Mari and the team from Nobu despite being out-powered and outmatched. He does his best to keep the crew sane and steady, even at the cost of his own mental health. Aware that Mari’s medical scans may be the key to finding and taking down the cult, he calls on his former commanding officer for help. But something sinister is brewing under the surface.
When Nobu manipulates Mari into leaving the ship and abandoning the mission, Trevor, Juniper, and the rest of the team break every rule to find her and bring her home. If the One Race Project gets everything they need to finish their 200-year-old plan perfecting human evolution, the fate of humankind will change forever.
