The Story Behind the Anthology
Attending author, marketing, and advertising webinars, workshops, and seminars are all part of Pamela Ackerson’s continuous endeavors to improve her writing and marketing abilities.
There Pam was sitting in the chair, listening to a gentlemen speak about promotion and marketing. Alas, her mind started to wander. It was a good thing the seminar was being recorded…
She started thinking about Garrett’s Ghost, a story of a time traveling Texas Ranger, and the ghost who wouldn’t leave him alone. In the story, there are a couple of minor characters, Rosa and Russell. There was a story there. She could feel it. Was it enough to write a book about? Or should it be a short story?
If it was a short story, perhaps it could be part of an anthology. Oh! An anthology with different degrees of hotness about wounded heroes! She’d write the sweet…about Rosa and Russell. But, whom could she get?
Pam has known Nia Farrell for several years and has read a handful of her books. Would she be interested? Nia likes to write short stories. She can write some seriously hot stuff. Oh! She could do the really hot stuff. She could do the five star hot stuff.
And, off it went!
Between multiple conversations the Wounded Heroes Anthology was born.
After Nia, Maggie Adams came on board. Next came Teri Riggs. Debra Parmley loved the idea so much she squeezed it into her very busy schedule. All the authors were there, lined up, and ready to pour their stories into one of the best Wounded Hero Anthologies available.
From sweet romance to sizzling hot romance, it’s all there in every degree of romance you want.
The authors hope you thoroughly enjoy each and every page from the sweet to the sizzling sexy!

ReplyDeleteA strong cover
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting us. It was an honor to be part of this project. I design nearly all of my covers but this is the first that I've done for an anthology. I'm happy that readers are enjoying it, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover.
