While I'm always open to trying new authors, there are a few whose work I will read no matter what; I don't need a synopsis, page count, cover image, none of it. I just know the book will be excellent.
Kylie is one of those authors for me.
The first book of hers I ever read was Kissing Santa. I was a judge in a book contest and this was an entrant. I was hooked! If you like My Big Fat Greek Wedding, you will LOVE this book. I was in tears, this was so funny!

Rico del Toro loves women. So one bad date with the beautiful Samantha in a string of many, ahem, successful evenings is no big deal. But when a friendly favor playing Santa unexpectedly lands Samantha on his lap for a romantic confessional, he’s intrigued. He’s never heard a woman open her heart like that before.
But if this Santa wants a second chance, he’ll have to rethink his womanizing ways and convince her that he is the perfect package.
I LOVE THIS BOOK! It was well-written, funny, HOT, and emotional. I will absolutely be reading more books by Kylie Gilmore!
Kissing Santa started off unlike any other book I have read. I was hooked at the first sentence. From there, it just kept getting better!
The humor throughout the book is great! It had a tone and feel sort of like “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” and I was laughing out loud more times than I can count. It wasn’t over-the-top corny or anything like that, but rather it highlighted the humor that can be gleaned from everyday conversations and situations.
Samantha and Rico were so fun to read because they were so believable. She was no-nonsense on the outside and yet vulnerable underneath. He was almost completely clueless, and the things he did to educate himself about what a woman REALLY wants were priceless!
While this book can be read as a stand-alone, it touches on other characters from past books, and if those books are anything like this one, then I may have found my new favorite series!
The love scenes were VERY HOT, and one in particular was about more than just the physical, which I absolutely loved.
I cannot say enough good things about this book or Kylie’s talent as an author, and I truly hope you like this book as much as I did!

The Clover Park Boxed Set includes three full-length novels: The Opposite of Wild, Daisy Does It All, and Bad Taste in Men. I wrote this series so one story picks up where the previous story left off, which makes it fun to binge read all together.
Book 1: The Opposite of Wild
Ex-cop Ryan O'Hare takes one look at buttoned-up control freak Liz Garner and just itches to loosen the woman up. Not that he’s into her. Because a woman like that comes with way too many expectations. Not to mention, she practically works for him, and he didn’t hire Liz to watch after his beloved Harley-stealing Gran so he could turn Liz loose in his bed. Still, there’s something about her, a hidden wild side, that makes him wonder what it would take.
Book 2: Daisy Does It All
Exhausted single mom Daisy Garner is shocked when her blog about her perfect life with husband and baby brings a national talk show to her door. Amazing! Except she made the whole thing up. Enter Travis O'Hare, her fake husband, who's intent on becoming the real deal.
Book 3: Bad Taste in Men
Rachel Miller knows opening a café will make her struggling bookstore the place to hang out. But when the bank turns her down and her best friend Shane O’Hare steps in, the café suddenly has too much riding on it—her career, her best friend, and her heart.
Don’t miss the next book in the series, Kissing Santa, with some big news from the O’Hare family!
Kylie lives in New York with her family, two cats, and a nutso dog. When she's not writing, wrangling kids, or dutifully taking notes at writing conferences, you can find her flexing her muscles all the way to the high cabinet for her secret chocolate stash.
