It’s been three months since the last time Jay met up with the married couple he’s grown so fond of. When he finds out Claire’s birthday is coming up, he jumps at the opportunity to see them again.
Jay and Dylan are hoping to give Claire a birthday she’ll never forget, but she ends up getting so much more…
What would make Claire’s 30th birthday a memorable event? A night in bed with her husband and their lover.
Publisher’s Note: This title contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: male/male sexual situations, ménage (m/m/f).
• “For Claire” is the second story in a three part series. It is preceded by “For Dylan” and will be followed up with “For Jay.” The series follows the evolving relationship between Claire, her husband Dylan, and their friend Jay.
• The story takes place in New York City. Claire and Dylan have an apartment in Manhattan, while Jay lives across the country in California.
• When I wrote “For Dylan”, I didn’t intend for it to be the start of a series. I didn’t decide to expand Claire, Dylan, and Jay’s story until I received such a positive reaction after the release of the first story.
• “For Claire” picks up a few months after “For Dylan” left off.
• While “For Dylan” reads more like erotica, “For Claire” is definitely an eroic romance.
• This series might be the last menage story I write. The sex scenes are very challenging to write. While I have no plans to start another menage book or story, I would give it another go if the right idea came along.
• There is a scene in the middle of the story where Claire, Dylan, and Jay spend a cab ride trying to keep their hands off one another. It’s my favorite scene in the story.
• “For Claire” doesn’t have a cliffhanger ending, but it does leave a few things open-ended.
• “For Jay” will definitely be the final story in the series. I have no plans to write another part.
• Even though every story in the series is named for particular character, they are all narrated by Claire.

I looked at Jay. With his full beard, broad chest, and tall stature, he was all man. Jay was powerfully sexy, and I couldn’t wait to watch him take control once we got home.
My eyes drifted back to Dylan, my beautiful husband. His high cheek bones and lean musculature were enough to take my breath away, and they usually did on a nightly basis. I couldn’t wait to share him with a man we both loved and trusted.
I sat up straight and pushed my chair out an inch from the table. “I’m ready to go.” I looked back and forth between the two of them, surprised they hadn’t caught the urgency in my tone. “Like right now.”
We hadn’t received the check yet, but that didn’t stop both men from digging into their wallets and throwing a few bills apiece onto the table. I knew Jay and Dylan well enough to be sure they left more than enough to cover the bill and tip the waitress exceptionally well. The three of us stood and hastily pushed in our chairs, hoping to hurry out of the restaurant while trying to look inconspicuous.

ReplyDeleteThe synopsis is an interesting one. The excerpt showed a little playfulness, with the promise of getting hot and steamy. I liked that it's not a total cliffhanger, I hate to be left hanging. ;) Blessings & Thanks
